Mahoroba, the Land of Children’s Tales / Hirosuke Hamada Memorial Museum
This museum is dedicated to Hirosuke Hamada, the author of children’s tales who is called the Hans Christian Andersen of Japan. His most well known stories, such as Naita Aka Oni (“The Red Ogre Wept”) and Ryuu no Me no Namida (“The Tears of the Dragon”), are narrated with slides. Original souvenirs and "Red Ogre Ice Cream" are for sale.
