The main exhibits are items excavated from the Kinowasaku ruins, which are thought to be the ruins of the Dewa provincial office; articles related to the history of Sakata Port, which prospered after the establishment of a westward sailing route; and articles related to the men from Sakata who fought in the Boshin War.
