Nishikawa Town Folklore Museum of Nature and Artisans, Ooisawa Natural Museum
Thousands of zoological and botanical specimens mainly from Mt. Asahi are exhibited. Visitors can see native wild plants in the botanical garden surrounding the museum. The Folklore Museum of Nature and Artisans holds various classes including Gassan agate craft, Gassan Japanese paper making and earthenware bell painting (by reservation).
