Facility	Oishida-machi Municipal History and Folklore Museum

Exhibited are articles related to river transportation that describe the history of Oishida-machi, which was an important, prosperous shipping port on the Mogami River. Also displayed are works of the many poets, writers and artists who stayed in Oishida-machi, including works by the haiku master Matsuo Basho, and Mokichi Saito.
