This museum is in the buildings of a sake brewery which was established in 1597, whose premises are among the largest in Japan. The museum not only exhibits sake brewing tools and equipment used in old times, it is also a rare example of the restored 19th century living environment of a sake brewery. Visitors can enjoy sampling various types of sake at the museum shop, a very popular free service.
