Facility	Yamagata City Local History Museum

This designated important cultural property was the former main building of Saiseikan city hospital. On display are articles related to medical care and medical science, and articles connected with Yamagata Castle and local history. The old Saiseikan hospital building, constructed in 1878, was patterned after Western-style design. It was moved and reconstructed in Kajo Park in 1969.
