The work is showcased of Takao Suzuki, the sixth generation of the Suzuki family of dyers, who is resurrecting “Benibana Tsumugi” - silk fabrics dyed with benibana (safflower) and woven in Yonezawa. The museum exhibits articles related to old benibana dyeing, benibana in Mogami, Japanese rouge refined from benibana and Benibana Tsumugi, and reproduces products dyed with benibana.
