The museum exhibits records of the achievements of Nanyo city native Toyotaro Yuki, who became the Minister of Finance and the fifteenth governor of the Bank of Japan, with a selection from among the collection of about 20,000 items that belonged to him. The exhibits include many valuable hanging scrolls of calligraphy and Chinese stone rubbings.The works of Uesugi Yozan, Tokugawa Nariaki, Wang Xizhi, Yan Zhenqing and other prominent calligraphers are also on permanent display.
