Facility	Kahoku-cho Municipal Benibana Safflower Museum

The museum opened in May 1984. The museum building is the former residence of Horigome Shirobe, who had a successful business which brought culture back from Kyoto in exchange for the rice and benibana safflowers he shipped there on the Mogami River. The exhibits relate to the safflower industry, such as clothes dyed with safflower, and Hina dolls.
