Facility	Rural Culture Research Center, Okitama Folklore Museum

This museum houses many articles of the old folk culture which convey the local lifestyle, customs and habits. Visitors can see the wisdom and ingenuity our ancestors applied to their daily lives from the tools and equipment they used for agriculture, food, clothing and housing. A hut is also exhibited (nationally designated important tangible folk-cultural property ) which was used for purification and preparation for mountain ascetic practices.
